Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring and enhancing inventory accuracy within our organization. This role is responsible for conducting daily cycle counts, critically analyzing discrepancies, devising and executing corrective actions to maintain optimal inventory integrity. Beyond inventory management, the Inventory Control Specialist will contribute to various warehouse operations, including processing material receipts and transfers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Daily Inventory Counts: Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with management protocols.
- Discrepancy Analysis: Identify and analyze discrepancies between system records and physical counts, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Inventory Software: Utilize both Stratix, INVEX, or similar software to generate cycle counts, review inventory levels, and track activities.
- Material Searches & Issue Resolution: Locate misplaced or misclassified materials within the warehouse. Diagnose, report, and resolve inventory discrepancies, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the warehouse and continuous improvement team to develop and implement improvements that address inventory discrepancies.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering strictly to safety, quality, and company procedures and guidelines.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, side-loaders, saws, and other warehouse equipment. Keeping your workspace clean and organized, adhering to safety, quality, and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Associate’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a relevant field preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
- Inventory Control Expertise: Minimum of 2 years in an Inventory Control role, including expertise in cycle counting, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliation.
- MRP Systems Proficiency: Strong experience navigating and utilizing software for inventory management, experience using Stratix and INVEX preferred.
- Warehouse Operations: At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Microsoft Office Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Full-time, on-site located at 85 NJ-31, Pennington NJ 08534.
Salary/Benefits:
Pay rate commensurate with qualifications and experience, with an annual discretionary bonus based on Company and individual performance.
