JOB SUMMARY

We’re excited to add an Inside Sales Specialist to our growing team. This role serves as a key point of contact for our customers, supporting the sales process from initial request through order fulfillment. The Inside Sales Specialist plays a critical role in delivering reliable service, building long‑term customer relationships, and supporting business growth. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as an ongoing point of contact for customers, handling inbound RFQs, clarifying technical details, and responding to inquiries by phone and email.
  • Own the quote to order process, developing competitive pricing while maintaining margin discipline.
  • Interpret customer requirements, material specifications, and order parameters to ensure quotes align with lead times and quality standards.
  • Develop working knowledge of specialty steel products, supply chain dynamics, and end‑use applications across multiple industries.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution environment.
  • At least 2 to 4 years' experience in full‑cycle sales, account management, or customer‑facing commercial roles.
  • Strong analytical, math, and Excel skills to develop data‑driven pricing strategies and analyze margins.
  • Foundational experience leveraging ERP (Invex) and/or CRM (HubSpot) data for customer history, pricing support, and order execution.
  • High attention to detail, paired with clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with technical specifications and pricing models.
  • Service‑oriented professional with a strong sense of reliability and a desire for continuous learning and development.

SALARY/BENEFITS

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 + bonus
