HISTORY OF SULLIVAN STEEL

1919
In October of 1919, the company that would later become Roller Bearing Corporation (RBC) of America, is officially incorporated in New Jersey under the name Circle Stamping & Manufacturing Co.
1980
Sullivan Steel is created as the company's distribution arm to supplement material sourcing for its bearing division, RBC of America.
1987
The company is renamed General Sullivan Group.
1987
General Sullivan Group sells its bearing division to a private equity company. Sullivan Steel continues operating under General Sullivan Group.
2003
General Sullivan Group relocates from West Trenton to its own facility in Pennington, NJ.
2010
After 30 years selling only 52100 tube and bar, Sullivan Steel expands their product catalogue for the first time to better serve the bearing and power transmission markets.
2025
Sullivan Steel undergoes a 20,000 square foot warehouse expansion to support ongoing product development efforts.
